Office Skyline

Something that I learnt from a free disc in the recent Digital Camera magazine I bought in May. Artistic photo joiner which transform and overlap multiple shots that will look like a 360 degree panoramic view. A David Hockney inspired photo collage.

The place that I work is in Level 48, Menara TM. Up here is a place called sky garden where we have our breaks and relax. I took up to 30 shots from my mobile camera, went back home to select the best 13 shots and joined it together to make a panoramic view.
from left is KL Tower, KLCC, MidValley, Federal Highway, Angkasapuri aka RTM and the upcoming Bangsar South.

Miss Chinese Cosmos South East Asia Pageant 2010 - 2nd interview

Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant is an annual beauty pageant run by Hong Kong-based Phoenix Satellite TV since 2003. This pageant is one of the most publicized Chinese beauty contests in the world.

Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur, there was a calling for all young Chinese women from South East Asia for an interview at the Palace of the Golden Horses on the 4 July 2010. Why ??....to be selected for the final as Miss Chinese Cosmos 2010. It's the 2nd interview this time.

Organised by the former Miss Cosmos International 2004, is Carrie Lee Sze Kei who is the event organising director of this pageant

Some of the product sponsors from perfume to contact lens which will be used by the candidates

....I met a friend here too Chrystal Chia, one of selected candidates. Good luck !!!

Some candid and some not so candid shots... all waiting for their makeup turn by make up artist at the holding room.

Make up Artist by KAI Professional Makeup....got a quick snap shot without flashgun in the make up room

Quick briefing to a candidate by Sook Wan from the organising team

Hope I got her name spelling right, Ms. Le'Win Pee from Johor....very french name. Her talent to impress the judges was chinese painting

Stroking her final touches...the painting is actually a combination of 6 pieces of artwork...

Do you notice her painting blends in so well in terms of colours and the feel of the Miss Cosmos logo.

Another two candidates....

Sneak peek into the judges room. 4 judges awaits this candidate

Photo shoot in the studio room...all candidates had to wear the white tube

Group photo of some girls after their studio photo shooting

Before I left the place at about 3.00pm....another young lady (center) with her friends came to register all the way from Sekinchan.

Thanks for viewing my blog post, although I do not have many photos to share since the rooms where most thing were happening was a "Restricted Zone", I thank the event organiser for the opportunity.

All the best to those who were selected for the final and for those who did not make it don't be disappointed, it takes a lot of courage to even fill up the registration form and enter the judges room for interview. Hope to see you again during the finals.
