Great to have some nature shooting spree over the Chinese New Year holidays last week... very relaxing and obviously away from hectic Kuala Lumpur.
Despite all the eating, drinking and karaoke back in Kuantan, it was time to do some walking and jungle trekking just to be in touch with mother nature.
So enjoy my shots taken in Taman Gelora, Kuantan. It's a park for jogging by the beach in Teluk Cempedak. Next day visited Sg. Lembing and Hutan Lipur Sg Pandan in Panching.....about 45 minutes drive from Kuantan town.
Young tree growing on the older tree
Lots of mushrooms sprouting out from the grow...yummy
Jogging trail at Taman Gelora
Next day in Sg Lembing
One the the most colourful rest house there
Rest house are usually fully booked over the weekends as the place is getting popular due to the sunrise watching at Panorama Hill and also the rainbow waterfall. So if no place to stay...the associations such as Hakka, Hainan and Kong Siew will be willing to accommodate you.
only petrol station. Sunday close. Open 7.30 - 12pm; 2pm - 6.00pm
There is an old cinema too...but no more screening movies now
Do you know Sg Lembing was an ex-tin mine town and it had the largest tin mine in the world. As deep as a five story building. Find out more from the museum when you plan to visit.
View from the hilltop at the museum
One bridge crossing for human and another for vehicle
Caught some dragonfly and bees in action too.
Hanging bridge to get over the other side of the village
This river used to be the transportation for tin mining
Arrived Hutan Lipur Sg Pandan. about 30 minutes drive from Sg Lembing. Enjoy the waterfall.
Just my friend, I think he is about 5' 11" tall, comparing how huge the rock and the fallen tree
View from the top of the waterfall and here I end my trip with a nice cool dip in the cool mountain water
Enjoyed!!!
